What is the danger to kids in watching TV?

Television can be a useful tool, unless utilized in a wrong manner. It has been watched that kids who watch a little TV, do better in school than their fellow peers. However, this does not essentially mean that you can park your kids in front of the TV and expect that they become Einstein when they become adolescents. Its true that too much of viewing television is bad for kids and the reasons are quite a few. For the young kids, its better if you keep them away from being glued to the TV. Alternatively you can encourage them into other activities like reading books and playing outside. As a parent you should know, how long the kids should watch TV?
The real dangers of remaining glued to the TV lie elsewhere. Excessive watching of the television makes your kid obese; your kids can suffer from attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). If they watch the thrillers in excessive then they can also be prone to crimes.
Recent analysis says that kids who watch a lot of TV between the ages of 1 and 3 most likely have attention problems and their brains do rot while sitting continuously in front of the idiot box.
